Natural products isolated from plants/fungi/algae/animals and their properties and effects such as antidiabetic, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and, wound healing.
With members of various background & interest, the aim of this group is to
-
Identify natural resources like plants, fungi, algae and animals inhabiting Malaysia that have medicinal properties.

Identify and isolate active compounds from various extracts with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial and wound healing properties

Test the isolated compounds with regards to the above-mentioned properties.
